Emery Kayt is Ten Months Old!

Emery Kayt you have officially hit double digits....10 months old!! You are getting bigger, busier, louder, and cuter everyday. We cannot get enough of your goofy personality! What have you been up to lately Miss Em?

Crawling is old news I guess because now our favorite past time is to stand, stand, and stand some more. You really want to stand up with out pulling up to anything and you try so hard....but you are just not there yet. I am guess that in the next couple of months not only will you be standing without help but that we will be chasing you all over! Speaking of chasing, that is your favorite game with Mommy and Daddy. You crawl into the next room and when we crawl after you, you let out the biggest belly laugh. You probably just think we are big goofs!

Maybe that is where you get your big goofy personality. You laugh at ev-er-y-thing. Open mouth smiles, belly laughs and funny faces are your usual routine. You really only get mad if there is food being taken away from you....then you can get very sad very quickly.

You have said Dada, Mama, Nana and we swear you say Kitty. It might not sound exactly like kitty, but every time you see the cat you say the same two-syllable word and get so excited. I also think you know what bow and bottle mean. If I say bottle you look for it (and cry when there isn't one) and if I say something about your bow, you immediately take it out of your hair. Also, if we ask for a kiss you are usually eager to plant a slobbery one right on our lips! You are too smart for your own good I think sometimes.

Even though you STILL have no teeth, you have pretty much moved on to all table food. You love feeding yourself (LEFT HANDED) and will crawl into the kitchen and sit and whine whenever you think that it should be snack time. This week baby gold fish (who knew these even existed?) and banana muffins have been your favorite and green beans are still in the running for your least favorite ha!

You are just so so sweet and we fall more in love with you everyday. We cannot believe our baby girl is 10 months old--we love you more than words baby girl!
