The Great Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend, we took our little pumpkin to The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur to pick out her little pumpkin. Neither of us had ever been to this patch and we were pleasantly pleased! There was lots to see and do and we will be going again!
It was a little chilly at first but like a good girl, she kept her mittens on the whole time. Emery seemed quite content in her wagon.....she is such a little people watcher. I think there were two smiles the whole day. The first came when she picked her pumpkin and the second was when she had her first bite of pumpkin cinnamon role. The rest of the day was a serious little girl just taking it all in.
My two pumpkin heads!!
We tried to get Miss E to try out her adventurous side with a little maze.
With much coaching from her Daddy and I she finally went in.....
Only to run into another little girl and have a staring contest. After their encounter there was no chance for the maze. Em just stood in the middle while all the older kids ran around her ha!
Daddy had to climb in and rescue her. There is always next year Em!
I love traditions and I think The Great Pumpkin Patch is going to be apart of ours for fall. Can't wait  to see how much our little pumpkin grows next year!
The mums were BEAUTIFUL there.....
and so were the pumpkins. SO. SO. MANY. PUMPKINS.
Finally we headed to the Patch to pick our pumpkins straight off the vine.
And there we saw that winning smile! Now we just need to carve them....I wonder how that will work with a one year old........
We ended the day with these bad boys. Pumpkin cinnamon rolls and a large apple cider slushie. Em was in heaven haha. After out bellies were full we headed home...Emery was asleep before we left the parking lot.
I love days like these and I love love love my little pumpkins.

  1. Great family outing. Will truly be a great tradition. All very good pictures. Em has so many new experiences. Makes you wonder what is going through her mind. She sure is enjoying it and taking it all in. Wonderful memories.
