Baby J #2-14 Weeks

Have chalkboard-will travel! Douglas was not home to take my picture so Nana got in on the action tonight! Thank you!
How far along? 14 Weeks! Hellllllo second trimester. Baby J is the size of a lemon (which is perfect because this Mommy is craving lemonade hard) and he/she can suck their thumb. How neat!!

Maternity clothes? My maternity jeans are nicely folded in my closet just ready for the day I break down....

Sleep:Better this week. Probably due to the fact we have been on the run every night and I am just plain old tired!

Best moment this week:A successful Christmas shopping trip with the Hubby probably ranks right up there. I also swear I have felt baby a couple of times lately. I remember what those first little movements felt like with Emery so I really do think Baby J is busy in there--I am just feeling it earlier this time. Feeling Em wiggle and kick was my absolute favorite and I missed it so much when she arrived. I hope I am not dreaming and I really am feeling my baby!

Food cravings:Still real food....Mac and Cheese..... I could really go for a cheeseburger. And lemonade. The more sour and tart  the better.

Symptoms:My sciatic pain (that is right....I was told that my weird hip/back/spasm/pain has a name) has not been quite as active this week. Maybe it will stay that way.....

Have you started to show yet:Some days yes and some days no. I am ready for it to just stick around!

Gender prediction:BOY. I might have tried to even buy a boy room decoration at Hobby Lobby this weekend. Douglas was luckily there to talk some sense into me.

Happy or Moody: Happy! How could I not be happy with Christmas right around the corner!

Looking forward to:More baby wiggles and seeing my girls this weekend!

My goofy girl totally photo bombed Baby #2's picture!!

  1. Enjoyed the blog. Glad you are getting more rest and less hip/back pain. Second trimester already! I'm sure it won't be long before you will be feeling a lot of movement and you won't question whether it is for sure or not. Exciting times. God is good.
