Baby J #2~16 Weeks

How far along? 16 weeks! Baby is the size on an avocado and can now hear our voices and maybe even see light. How amazing is that! I hope he or she can hear Emery's voice and is falling in love with it already.

Maternity clothes? Might have worn my maternity jeans out the other night. And I am not going to lie....it was wonderful:)

Sleep:Pretty good.

Best moment this week:I had an appointment on Wednesday of last week. The minute the doctor put the doppler on my stomach she asked me if I could feel the baby. I said "Yes, earlier than with Emery....why?"....she answered by saying "Listen to this!" Doug and I could hear baby kicking the doppler and swishing around. Best moment yet!

Food cravings:MEAT! Which is so so weird for me. I may have had steak, ribs and wings this past week.....

Symptoms:Still just my back. It is not everyday so I do not want to whine. But when it hurts it hurts!

Have you started to show yet:I think we have transitioned to yes this week. I can still hide it in some of my winter sweaters but I think it is safe to say the bump is back!

Gender prediction:Boy---but I have been looking up girl names just in case.

Happy or Moody: Happy happy happy! I am home with my baby girl, I get to spend time with some of my best friends this week, and Christmas is two days away. There is so much hurt and heartache in this world-I need to count my many blessings and cherish all of these special moments.

Looking forward to: Friends, family, food and celebrating our Savior's birthday! I am just loving this season with Emery----she already unwrapped a present (that wasn't hers) so I can't wait for her to show off her unwrapping skills that I know she has!
