Healthy, Happy and Busy

Two weeks later and I am happy to announce that all four Jansens are healthy. Now if we can just keep it that way. And because of our new found health, we had a much needed happy weekend leading us straight into a super busy week.
Being under the weather didn't stop Doug and I from traveling up to Champaign this past week for our Valentine's Date. Of course my husband would arrange it so that we celebrated with an Illini game ha! The food was great, the game was good and my company wasn't half bad either.
Antibiotics kicked in almost immediately for this one. If he was non-stop before I do not know what to call him now. I can tell he feels better because his eyes are just that much brighter and his smile is that much bigger. His new favorite pastimes include feeding himself and doing everything big sister does which has him falling asleep every night during his breathing treatments--makes it easier for me!
The way these two look at each other and interact melts my heart. They already have that love/hate relationship.
He loves and wants everything she has (and gets to it no matter what) and she sometimes isn't so fond of that. Or the hair pulling. Get used to it girly!
They just keep getting more fun together. Having a healthy, happy weekend has me missing them something fierce today.
Our weekend started off with a phone call just after six inviting us over for an impromptu fire with smores-if we provided the smores haha. We love having the Probsts live so close and we love their boys. Emery taught the boys how to play duck-duck goose which was hilarious and Auggie did his best to keep up with the older boys, aka he fell asleep during the fire and slept in the next morning!
The weather was BEAUTIFUL this weekend. We walked and played on our swing set until the sun went down.
I think the fresh air and sunshine made us feel that much better.
And it had us falling asleep at the dinner table and sleeping soundly through the night again. Doug and I are hoping the good sleeping and health keeps up through this week. (Oh! And Emery being almost accident free all weekend. Yippppeee!) We have a big week ahead--Tumbling, basketball, open house for Em's school, wedding rehearsal and the BIG wedding this week and weekend! Whew.

Hoping everyone else is healthy and happy going into this week too.
