Emery Kayt~ One Week Old

Emery Kayt you are one week old today and that is hard to believe! What have you been up to lately??

You went to your first doctors appointment and did so good. You are in the 50th percentile in weight at 7lbs and 5oz, in the 80th percentile in height at 20 inches long, and your cute little head is in the 98th percentile!

The doctor even used the word "perfect" (which this Mom caught on to real quick haha). We go back next week and we can't wait to see how much you have grown.

You love to cuddle and try on all of your clothes and bows. It is amazing how many blankets, burp clothes, diapers, and outfits you have gone through. Laundry is going to be Mommy's new favorite past-time.






                                                                            



Your zebra is your new best friend (only because Wednesday wants nothing to do with you right now). You watch it move and listen to it play music. Now Mommy knows to sing to you--but zebra still beats Mom.

You make the funniest faces and have definitely found your little (or should I say BIG) voice. You let us know exactly what you want when you want it. You sleep good through the night and get up about every three hours. Mommy and Daddy secretly love our quiet time with you at night. But we love our sleep too.

You HAVE to be swaddled up tight to sleep and you love your sound machine. The tighter the swaddle the better the sleep!
