Baby J #2~26 Weeks
How far along? 26 weeks. Which for some reason strikes me as wayyyyy closer to 30 weeks then 25 weeks did. Baby boy is the size of a head of lettuce and probably weighs about two pounds!
Maternity clothes? I am so ready for spring. My black wardrobe is just boring and I find myself wearing the same thing every week--the cute and comfy stuff!
Sleep:Sleeping great! I love sleep:)
Best moment this week:Just getting in some at home-just-the-three-of-us time. Emery is just so fun right now---so she makes working all weekend on the house fun. We still have a ways to go but I love that it is starting to look like I had pictured!
Food cravings: Lasagna. Guess what I made for supper last night. Lasagna. And it was glorious.
Symptoms:I feel great now, but Thursday of this past week was a different story. I woke up thinking maybe the flu bug going around had caught up with me...I just felt yucky and off...could not really put my finger on it. By the time school was out I felt worse. When I described my symptoms to my Mom she reminded me that I was pregnant (duh) and that I had just described contractions (big DUH). Sure enough that is exactly what I was having. I took it easy that night and drank lots of water and felt better in the morning. It was a simple case of me not drinking enough water--dehydration and pregnancy do not mix! I have also probably been doing too much with all the work on the house and taking care of my Momma's girl. I have learned my lesson and now keep water close and take breaks when I feel like I need it. Cause this preggo ain't got time for contractions.
Have you started to show yet:YES! Em now pats my belly when we talk about Baby Brother.
Miss anything:Nope--I am feeling so much better compared to last week and the week before.
Happy or Moody: And this makes me very very happy.
Happy or Moody: And this makes me very very happy.
Looking forward to: A short school week and maybe some warmer weather this weekend. I am hoping warm weather equals getting lots of done on the house. I am starting to feel the pressure of wanting to work on baby boy's room and Emery's big girl room--lots to do before then!!
So glad you are feeling better. I know you are excited to get the house all in order and get those two precious baby rooms done but self comes first at this point. I know you are well aware of that but the Gma in me has to say it. You are now getting to the part that is more fun to do - decorating. I'm so ready to start on the drapes and valance. Doug is working so hard ( and doing such a good job) to get things done just the way you want them for his family. Sounds like baby Jansen is really growing!
