August Samuel~4 Weeks Old

Four weeks old...how can that be??

August Samuel, what have you been up to lately?

 

Mommy and Daddy think you are getting so big...maybe not the chubbiest of babies yet, but you have definitely gotten longer. We go back to the doctor on Thursday and we cannot wait to see how big you are.

You have fallen into an eat-every-3-hours routine and have stretched that to maybe 4 straight (one time 5!!) hours of sleep at night. We have figured out when bedtime is and that makes for a much easier night.

 

We would be lying if we said you were a super happy baby. You only like your Mommy and you only like to be held. You are not to blame for this....I kind of spoiled you the first couple of weeks. And now I am trying to un-spoil you. I have found one thing that you love--your baby carrier. And now with the new-born insert from Aunt Kim, you seem so happy and comfy. Yesterday I laid you down after carrying you and you slept the whole day! No tears!

 

We cannot believe you will be one month old this week--what did we ever do without you bud!?!
