Our Double Happy Day

July 16th ranks right up there as one of my favorite days of the year. This day has brought me more love and happiness then I ever knew possible. 

On this day, in 2013 at 9:08 am, my world was changed forever. I became a Mother.  

Emery Kayt stole our hearts and we keep falling more and more in love. 

I cannot believe my baby girl is two. Two full years of giggles, big grins, kisses, cuddles, lessons and love. 

I love the little girl Emery is becoming. She is so sweet and soft spoken...chatty, but soft spoken. She is such a little Mom too.... You should see her kiss and take care of her a Baby Auggie. And at the same time she can be so fearless and sassy. She will try anything you introduce her to and just goes with the flow. She also has no problem bossing us around ha! I can't wait to see her personality grow even more. She learns so much everyday--it is amazing. 

I hope you feel so loved today Emery Kayt. It is your day baby girl! Happy 2nd Birthday!

July 16th also holds a special place in my heart because of this guy. My best friend, my support system, my husband. We were married on this day four years ago.

This October we will have been together for 10 years (SAY WHAT?!!?). When the boy who sat behind me in Spanish class asked me on a date in 2005, I never would have imagined how much happiness that boy would bring me. 

Four years, two houses and two babies later and life just keeps getting better. It's going by too fast.... but I love having him as my sidekick on this amazing adventure. Happy Anniversary Douglas!
