July 16th, 2017~Today is our Double Happy Day

Emery Kayt Jansen. You are FOUR! Four seems really big all of a sudden. I wanted to remember every little thing about this age so I asked you a few questions. Here are your answers (and a few explanations):

How old are you? Four! Four year olds get to do puzzles by themselves, play with ipads, go to school and be a big sister again.
What makes you happy? If I have fun. I like to slide and swim and play outside. (Em you have always liked a "BIG" day. You can make anything fun.)

 What is your favorite animal? Ummm....Dolphins. And Pandas.

 What is your favorite color? Pink then purple and yellow. Oh and light blue.

What is your favorite thing to eat? Cheese burgers! And I always hold it the whole time. (She doesn't put it down until she has devoured it.)
What is your least favorite thing to eat? Broccoli (Should read any veggie at all.)

 What is your favorite TV show? Dora the Explorer
What is your favorite movie? Trolls and Moana (She is a movie lover--and Doug and I secretly love these two too.)
What are you really good at? Ummm...going under the water, unwrapping presents, listening to the rules at school. (That is quite the list, Em! And we would have to agree.)

 What is your favorite song? I have lots. Trolls Songs, Moana Songs, Glory to GOD, Hallelujah, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars. (Our girl is always singing. And she does have the best taste in music.)
What do you and your Mommy do together? We have girl days. 

 What do you and your Daddy do together?  We read books and play with Auggie's farm.

What do you and Auggie do together? We watch our shows and swim and play barbies. (Should read whatever I boss him around at ha!)
Who are your best friends? Charlee, Alayna, Beckett, Lucas, Jackson, Ella and Katie.

What do you want to be when you grow up? A teacher like you, Mommy. Maybe a music teacher. (I think you would be a wonderful music teacher.)

What are you thankful for? I am always thankful for our house and for keeping us safe. (She does always say these two when she prays.)

Emery Kayt, we could not be any more proud of the little girl you are. You are kind and creative, silly and strong willed. You are your brother's boss and protector, Daddy's little girl and Mommy's big helper. You are so beautiful inside and out.

Four is going to be so fun for you.
